Gurfateh Ji! We are super excited for our second year of Udaari College Mentorship! We’re really proud of our students from last year—who were accepted to schools like Princeton, UIUC, Stanford, Harvard, UCSD, UCLA, UC Berkeley, NYU, USC and more—and we’re excited for another year of working with students!
Know an awesome high school student? Nominate them for Udaari’s mentorship today! If you are applying for yourself, please put in the time to write a thoughtful application and only apply if you will engage consistently, proactively and seriously throughout the year.
For Rising Sophomores/Juniors:
Admissions Bootcamp: Join our once-a-month application prep series on Zoom where we will cover the nuts and bolts of applying to college including different application components, how to develop your extracurriculars, and tips to apply for financial aid. You’ll hear from Sikh college students at various universities about their experiences, key lessons learned, and advice for applying.
Pod-Style Mentorship: We will pair 2-3 high schoolers with a college mentor who has similar academic interests. They will offer more in-depth advice on building your activities, picking classes, planning your summer, etc.
For Rising Seniors:
1-1 Mentorship: We will pair you with a college student who will guide you throughout the application process including helping you write + improve your essays, build your college list, prepare for interviews and more! You’ll meet your mentor once a week and will complete homework assignments throughout the week to ensure you stay on track!
We are very grateful to The Sikh Foundation for making our college mentorship possible. Reach out to manat@udaari.org with any questions! Applications due on Sunday, 7/13! We are reviewing and accepting students on a rolling basis, so it’s better to apply/nominate students sooner rather than later!
